Mark Clarkson

Mark is currently a director on a number of boards. These companies are involved in the primary sector. Mark has spent more than forty years working in the New Zealand meat industry of which 23 years were in a CEO role.

Mark retired from ANZCO Foods limited in 2017 after being 13 years in the position of Managing Director during a time of substantial growth. Prior to this, other international business senior roles occupied his time, including processing & manufacturing, sales & marketing as well as cattle feed lotting.

Mark was appointed as an independent director of CAPA in 2019.

Mark's connection and passion with the rural/primary sector has been evident throughout his career, including living in Ashburton/mid Canterbury for 13 years - 1991 to 2004. In his spare time Mark enjoys a good glass of NZ wine, particularly Pinot Noir and Syrah.
