HANDMADE SOFT TOY CONDITIONS OF ENTRY:
We’re offering needleworkers and craft producers a wonderful opportunity to enter our brand-new competition and show case their skills at the largest A & P Show in New Zealand.
Promotion: All toys and their prize ribbons will be displayed at the NZ Agricultural Show within the newly created Wool Zone area.

Entry fee: $10.00
Prize Money: 1st place - $50.00, 2nd place - $40.00, 3rd place - $30.00
Note that by entering into this confirmation we take this as acceptance that you understand that any prize money paid by CAPA to you, may depending on the amount and your individual circumstances, be regarded as income by the Inland Revenue in New Zealand and therefore subject to the payment of income tax. It is your responsibility to take independent advice on this and to make such payment where required. CAPA accepts no responsibility for the payment of any income tax obligations that may or may not arise from the payment of any such prize money to you.

New Zealand Agricultural Show (office hours) - Canterbury Agricultural Park, 102 Curletts Road, Hillmorton, Christchurch 8042
Rules:
An individual exhibitor may enter more than one exhibit.
Entry must be the bonafide work of the exhibitor.
Toys must be made from NZ grown and produced wool, mohair, alpaca or possum.
Toys are to be knitted, crocheted, wet felted, needle felted.
There should be no sharp edges and all attachments, including arms, head and legs should be firmly secured.
Stuffing should be firmer for a soft, or decorative toy, but softer for a cuddly toy – which is more squashable and still holds its shape.
Toys should be realistic, in proportion and suitable in size and type

Toys can be picked up on the last day of the Show (Friday) between 4.30 pm and 5.30 pm. Proof of entry must be provided on collection. Alternatively return instructions and courier tickets/packaging can be included when the toy is delivered.
